This free tool, TypingSpeedMonitor, will monitor your typing speed when you are at the PC. You will then get a nice report about your speed while you are typing a letter in Word, or blogging on a website, or simply answering your emails. The program is available in two languages: English and German (will auto-detect).

It is 100% freeware.
